For a moment, i was happy. I thought i was lucky for i had unexpectedly, opened a door that was so hard to find. I had opened that door and found the other half of my heart.

I now see that you had completed me, We had met in another life time and found each other again. Two lost souls not knowing where they belong until they found each other.

It was simple, all we had to do was love each other, but you killed it with focusing on the negatives and never enjoying what was positive about us. You missed out on a love that was so true ,so sweet, so innocent. Why i love you?

I love your gentle steps, as if to not disturb the world,

I love your eyes that glisten like glass when you use to look at me with love.

I love  the way you use to hold my hand and close your eyes and take deep breathes of me.

I love your hugs that made me feel secure and protected and your kisses that came in sets of threes, just because.

I love it that you put that wall down for a moment and let me in. i saw the true you. I loved you because  i fell inlove with the core of you, the lost lonely boy who desperately wanted to be loved.

I loved you because you looked inside me and saw that lonely little girl behind my wall and accepted her.

I loved you because you knew me better than i did. you loved me with all my imperfections.

The storm came and you got distracted, you forgot about me. you moved on looking back at times with that look in your eyes that you would come back for me. I held on believing , i could see you far away  busy working to save you and the people around you. At times you would look back, with your eyes you would tell me , i will be back to get you. Then you began to fade, i panicked and i screamed for you to come back. I know you heard me but you refuse to turn. there she was beside you, you guiding her, protecting her. Making your way with her to dry land.

You abandoned me, i dont understand. it had felt so right, so real, so true . My knight in shining armor. The other half of my heart. i never hurt you, i believed in you, trusted you. Gave my all to you because everything felt so right. my soul mate.

The pain is unbareable at times and i would give anything for it to go away. i dont deserve this. Now i must make my way down and find my own way home. Every moment in life is meant to be for a reason. For me to learn from the experience.

I am still trying to learn what it is that i need to take from this lesson.

                                       My Heart Still Bleeds
