Poem Artwork

The innuendo queen with her insidious remarks

hunts and pecks away at the dirt,

as she forages for a juicy worm

to dangle on the end of her line of bullshit.

With a pedomorphic species in hand she fumbles with the hook

not realizing that with every cast she drifts further away

into the abyss that is her cold empty heart.

ha! reminds me of my old family cat when I was a kid...she would do that with her paws also...use to scandalize my mom and made me and my sisters laugh.
Tight bit of writing here, Sara. Strong imagery and words that cut to the bone. Well done!

Dayum girl! I would've thought a canine would grace the graphic here for your red hot poem. Guess the message is here for someone. Heaven help the SHE who incurred this wrath!
Good poem.
