Poem Artwork

time waits for the fool to never rise

lulled by his slumbered prison of obligations.

not met, yet?

smiling at the wants and desires

as life squirms away, unapologetically.

laugher mixes with awe, mixes with truth

serums better not tasted, left aside, lest they hurt.

individuality makes boxes within boxes of commonality

rub the genie in the bottle, make a magic magick combination

looking back, back, the past becomes today’s fascination

unknown excitations

life exists, as if we lost something

oh fool, rise, rise, rise

let your bandages fall away

kiss your hurt and make it better.

KISS, always kisses upon your forehead

upon your eyes

upon your cheeks

upon your throat

upon your lips, licks, kisses,

kisses always.

Sara, talk about sealing it with a kiss! Excellent work my friend. Ahh… the power of a kiss! Although some suggest that one should never look back, I say, “one should always look back if one is to be able to avoid making the same mistakes time and again.” I enjoyed the read. Thanks for sharing it. Take care and be well.
