Poem Artwork

time is made for thinking

looking inside, outside,
everywhere
to everyone.

and for finding

words, illusions, demands, beliefs.
thousands of directions of conflicting interests.

space junk
drowning in each others noise.
waiting to be heard, seen, thought of.

demanding a moment of presence
even in a small significant way

but time still searches
for the key
and the lock

the two pieces to every puzzle

no point in praying.
to whom?

anyone there?
no.
no one listening.

it’s just me. I’m here.
the only one.
always here.

just a piece of space junk.
thinking
in a small significant way.

Sara,

Thought provoking, kind of sad...I feel like that too, lost on an off track orbit, forgotten, alone....sigh.

You've captured my mood at present too closely for comfort. Well done!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. :( *tears*

A sad painful read. In a world where the one who dies with most toys wins. Or so he thinks. Yet there is a great hope.......

Sara, you expressed again your honesty and "brutal" analysis in this poem. I often feel like space junk, too, as we're living in a world of quantity rather than of positive qualities (these rather tend to drown in junk these days). This said I believe in prayer. Even if there is nobody there who listens, it concentrates and reinforces the best in you. Take care, Franz

Very interesting Sara, for those without spirit eyes, but I'm way past becoming human, 3/4 on my way to divinity!;-) Excellent write!
Thanks for the link I enjoyed it!
