Another photo of Sparky, doing his Jabba The Hut impersonation with his pet fish and best friend in life...that is after the dog.

Poem Artwork

we win
we lose
we hurt
we bruise.
we dream
we regret
we build
we connect.
we laugh
we cry
we love
we try.

why?

because of hope
and the knowledge
that to not do so
and miss a chance
at a gentle smile
a sweet caress
a peaceful life
and a deeper kind of love
that is filled with emotion
and devotion, expressed
or unexpressed
is worse than the
suffering of the wait
for dreams that may
or may not
one day come true .

I know it is trite
but this I can assure you.

the potential to reach our dreams is what gives life purpose ...

nothing trite about connecting to the hope within us and the love we need to express ...

a very motivated analysis!

Gentle piece that is worthy of more praise then I can sum up in a few words but I will try. This poem sparkles with a clarity, honesty and sense of purpose to tell us just what life should be all about.

I don't think it is so "trite," Sara. I think there's wisdom and truth in your verses. Great photo as well. Thank you. Love and peace.
