Imagine an ant one day decides it is not going to go work for the colony, but work for itself. What would be the outcome of such a decision?

Poem Artwork

How did we come to this?
To the point where only one
of us loves the other.
Where only one of us cares
to even know why?

How did I lose the fight
to endlessly be loved,
honored and respected by you?

How long can I pretend
I don’t know the reasons why?
Knowing my cute American smile
has lost itself in tears that never wash away.

How long before I know
it was never me whose heart
was nestled into yours?
It was never me whose love you declared to
in the present and with an affirmative.

How long before I know
it is your love
and my tomorrows
that have ended
because of both
of our yesterdays?

The ant maybe unwell due to a magnifying glass...
And this poem screams even more pain.
Gotta take controll and move with the clock, onwards always onwards

VEry well written my friend. We tend to want to blame ourselves and everyone when love goes bad but sometimes it is just fate.

This is verse and meter that grabs the reader and wrestles the question to the mat. Gripping and compelling in posing an unanswerable question. Excellent work, dear friend.

sometimes when love is lost in the past the possibility of it being rekindled in the present diminishes greatly ...

your query to the dilemma of love's absense is effective and well stated ...

Our human genome is full of viruses similar to HIV-1. These have played an important role in human evolution and still play an important role in human embryology and day-to-day chemistry. Just how important are they to our evolution past and future?
