Sometimes I ask myself Why do I even care about the world When all I really want Is to lay down next to you To live by your side Day after day Looking at you As you look at me To just melt into your eyes As I wipe away my tears But our true mission Is to nurture our vision Make it grow strong And spread out its gnarly branches To ignite the next cause In a spectacular worldwide conceit Of doing the right thing Of loving thy neighbor For the love of life And not for the glories of an afterlife Of a concern for all of the tomorrows And not just one humans life span Of a cessation to a world of harms Because to live and let live From ant to zucchini Is to be who we are The highest thinkers The doers and the shakers The money makers The people of earth The mortals That is the greatest achievement we have envisioned My darling that is our dream The finest reality Of heaven on earth Yes my love That...is who we are

Oh, I know this feeling. Nothing else matters anymore. Just him, his love, his touch....
But reality is often different. Cold, cruel, lonely.
