Lost inside themselves MEN Striving to be better than everything Or maybe just anything Demanding respect Squashing every corpuscle that crosses their path Thinking MIGHT conquers all
THEN When they are alone And lonely in their bed Confident their secret is safely tucked away Nice and tight within the gray matter of the four quadrants of their brain Their truth explodes with a scream And in the dark They shake and shiver Their pillow drenched in fear Frantically shadow boxing the agony of realization That the only face they’ve bashed in Is their own

Sigh... one can only hope.. society places too much pressure on men, sometimes... Ah, hell... that's no excuse! lol.. this is really a very sensitive write and I believe you struck a nerve for some here... that's what it's all about! Thank god, we are of a generation that finally admires the man with the kind heart, the gentle ways... well, I do anyway. This is a wonderful piece, Sara. love, katy xox.
Reminds me of a saying my Mother used to repeat when warning somebody about the dangers of not thinking out their intended plans. "Don't cut your nose off to spite your face".
I think this fits well here. Good write Sara. Lisa
This book is about a radical transformational Way of Insight, Awakening and Realization to transcendent Self of Nondual Consciousness. If your're interested in transcendental Enlightenment, in Awakening to Nondual Self of Wisdom and Compassion, then
Histories of the world are generally written to either celebrate technology and science, or to herald doom. My book examines the path of the spirit in the onward rush.
