Poem Artwork

Alas! Life is but a paradise
perched on the edge of hell.
As a rose it blossoms everyday
in tune with the nature
flowering against a boundless
dark death on the momentary
bubble of existence.
Yet, rejoice but complain not,
its too exciting to live inside
a life, beyond the confines
of the human understanding.
Not in the present but in the
grains of the future. Not in the
laughter but in the silouhuette
of the tears. Not in the temple
but in the mansion of the heart.

Yes, bittersweet my freind...we can do nothing but wonder at it's beauty and gasp at it's cruelty. And yes, hope for the future "in the mansion of our hearts"...

There is beauty to be found even in the most desolate and derelict of places and situations - if a source of love and nurture is present. And those "hells" can be places of redemption and transformation - allowing hope to permeate. Visionary write as always, Bhuwan. TY Kate xx
