The Mountains
are tall,
and the grasses
are green
but here is
nothing to eat,
and nothing
left to dream.

We, Nepalese
are only smiling
from outside but
deep inside,
we have
turned to ice.

We are,
an isolated fact.
We don't have
any affiliations
with the present
and the past.

We are,
an atom
bombarded
by neutrons.

We used to think
but now we've
become a thought.

Pale, dark, fragile,
sunken and impotent thought,
as the, " Big Bang Theory,"
that had once stunned the world.

No wonder, as through generations her jewel has been plundered, raped, cut away into peices and denied it's sacred fire. Keep working to shed light on her pain, Bhuwan as long as that fire
burns within you. My prayers to you and your country...Lin

Bhuwan, this piece pulled at my heart. It is a sad fact that the world is only interested in helping those who have something it wants. I will keep you and your people in my prayers.

Beautiful poem about something so dark and sad. As Eileen said, it seems to be happening all over the world. God bless you and your country.

Brother Bhuwan, I must tell you that yours is a light in a darkening world. You are destined to be one who leaves behind a shining legacy for your people and the world. Do not despair. Our prayers and love are offered for you and your people. Peace, love, and blessings are wished for you from the other side of the world my planet companion. Mikii

That is so sad to lose one's sense of history and continuity.
I would search for the tiniest fragment of information, collect it in a volume and leave it for those who come after me. Sounds like a good project...and even in verse it would make a statement.

Good work.

Bhuwhan,

Isolated. Lonely. Heartbroken. Those are the feelings I'm left with after reading your poignant verse. Excellent expression--you're in my prayers.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Superb poigniant write Bhuwan, just to let you know that your country and it's internal turmoil may have been ignored and by the greater majority of the worlds governments there are some of us who have not forgotten. Especially the sacrifice your country made in young men fighting for the British. I had the great honour to serve with some of these brave and resolute men during my time in the Army. It's shameful how little this country cares for such sacrifice. Blessings my friend.

Such a sad state of affairs Bhuwan! It seems like it's happening all over the world in all countries, and we have to be prepared for what is to come. God bless you and yours, and your country!
