Poem Artwork

Can a man, carry hate in his heart
And his soul not be burned?
Can a man, walk in the path of hate
And his feet not be scorched?

Can a man, stare in the darkness
And his eyes not be distressed?
Can a man, kill another man for honor
And his humanity not be gone?

Can a man, depose the nature
And his living not be drenched?
Can a man, destroy the faith
And his fate not be hoaxed?

Can a man, fool lust for love
And his heart not be broken?
Can a man, derail the truth
And his trust not be sojourn?

Can a man, discount his love
And his life not be wrecked?
Can a man, discard the divinity
And his pulsation not be broken?

Good question. I know a man that had to kill for his country. He was never the same again. His soul is now in heaven, but for the time he had left on earth he lived in Hell.
