Physical presence is not necessary to feel another's love.
***************
I’d hold you … if I could …
and love you … yes, I would.
We’d drown each other in tears
let loose a torrent of fears.
I can and I will
until Comfort comes.
Words can’t ease … what one needs …
as hearts break … tear drops seize
happiness--as ‘life’ goes home.
No more on this earth to roam.
May love hold you, fill
places where hearts hum.
Physically I would …
embrace you … as I should.
We’d share memories … years
let loose laughter, life’s cheers.
I thrive in your heart
though we’re far apart.
Lives pained … blotch Death’s stains …
angels scrub with tears’ rain.
Never say good-bye … just sigh ...
then meet in mansions sky-high.
Reels replay quite kind
in theatres’… minds.
Close your eyes … I’m there
in spirit … everywhere.
Let me shoulder love, pain, rain
pools—waterfalls--of life’s strain.
I’m on bent knees
till sufferings calm, ease.
I will comfort, can,
till He comes … the Man.

This is really wonderful and I believe that you would be a wonderful companion for someone until comfort comes.
I have written a chapter called I Am That, I Am in this inspirational compilation book by best-selling authors and wonderful people from all walks of life xox :-D (Its sister book is called Adventures In Manifesting - Success and Spirituality)
When two men hit the reset button and decide to go out looking for the good in the world, they not only find it but also a lot more.
P.S. The title is listed on Amazon under Look for Something Good by Robert Drews (not by Robert H. Drews)
I hung on every word.
