This is a Good Friday poem written in remembrance of His sacrifice. ****************

You sacrificed Your life, took upon You our strife … how could I? How could I? How could I refuse You? On your shoulder a cross for all mankind’s sin … cost how could I? How could I? How could I refuse You? You knew before You came how You’d die. What a shame! how could I? How could I? How could I refuse You? Grew from babe to a man, could’ve altered His plan how could I? How could I? How could I refuse You? Though I’ve aged, grown weary I love You, Lord, dearly, how could I? How could I? How could I refuse You?
