Payback Is A ….. Jesus, the Son, dwelled with God in heaven. Lucifer smiled, sneered, “Payback is a ……” “Luke! You cannot utter such … it is forbidden before the heavenly hosts and children. If you’re THAT low … slink upon the ground!” Cain killed Able, was tossed out of Eden. Angrily he said, “Payback is a …..!” “CAIN! Your ultimatum brought murder to men. What you did … UNJUST! I do as I must Escillating sin … salvation won’t win.” Noah built an ark. Folks laughed, “What a lark!” A man drowning cursed, “Payback is a …..!” “HUSH! I offered a way yet you chose sin, vice. Fed and then clothed you. What more could I do? I gave knowledge, health, but you wanted wealth.” Jesus Christ was born early one March morn. Male babes slain, King swore. “Payback is a …..!” “What? My Son, His Kingdom … as “I” say it’s done! You shall worship Him for infinity. Live life faithfully, thrive eternity.” Christ was crucified. Death, grave, He defied. He paid for OUR sins. Payback is a …… “Glory! Sins washed by His blood, sacrifice of love. Dedication to our tribulation, He’ll return anew, fetch the faithful few. copyright 2009 Sandra S. "The ARK..." When we will umderstand that the majority didn't get into the "ARK"?

~ The BUILDER of the ARK is calling people to enter and learn how to live in peace, but we prefer to follow Mammon and his bankers; and all of his bought and paid servants.

This poem sings to Justice and dignity; to humanity and fraternity, and it does it in poetic compliance.

I think this is excellent, Sandra. Such an unusual format, at least to me, the uneducated. You've covered so much content In a short writing. Of course, I like the ending the last verse best, it is so rich, so thrilling, so comforting.
