There for Me
Christ has always been there--
the first to love, care—
with me everywhere.
Takes my hand,
helps me,
until I can stand.
Words whispered softly
tend to comfort me
when said earnestly.
Hear my voice!
I’ve chosen …
He’s my choice!
We’re never alone
but partnered … His light shone
on every stone.
Love is free,
excites
all .. totally.
Truth and righteousness
fills us when we trust.
Only Christ is just
and always there for me.
