Jesus is Everything to Me

Before conception gave life to me
Christ died on sins' cross, set men free.
Liberty--as meant to be--
live fore'er ... immortality.
Heard His Word, changed my destiny.
Felt His hands lift my misery.
Jesus is everything to me.

I've made mistakes, on knees confessed.
Perfect? Me? Unobtainable quest.
To seek thus makes a bigger mess.
Life ... fore'er ... immortality
is His promise. He paid our debts.
With Jesus we're blessed, on Him rest.
Jesus is everything to me.

My eyes, once blind, opened I see
who I have been, am meant to be.
Righteousness is Christs' victory
lives fore'er ... immortality.
Bears my sins to finality,
He gave free will, came for all to see.
Jesus is everything to me.

I lay down, sleep, with Jesus rest.
Fallen, beat, scraped, I've done my best.
Salvation's mine--I've passed His tests.
Life I'll reap ... immortality!
We clasp our hands. It's true , I'm blessed.
Where one goes, they'll live MORE not less.
Jesus is everything to me.
