Artistic poem (my art/poem) about how easy it is to be deceived by things, circumstances and people. ***************

Veil of Life Illusion, veil of life, flutters softly in winds of yesterday. One could almost see their way through the gossamer haze of gray. It’s tempting to hide— and it’s so easy. It’s my destiny to abandon this masquerade. Each veil floats. However, death--at bay-- jubilantly sows grief, dismay. Faith’s beacon shines, a golden ray. With Him by your side we’re less apt to slide. The way down is wide. Sheer nonsense is casually is pretending you’ll always be. There are daily casualties. The veil falls, folds, and death sashays. I lift mine eyes in victory! They are not blind shuttered, thinly veiled … He opened them. I see! Illusion, veil of life, flutters behind the breeze of doubt, decay. I do, indeed, see my way without the gossamer hazes gray. copyright 2007 Sandra S. Corona "I Found You"

The way down is indeed wide, and so easy to follow because it involves so little self control. To rise above that and see through the veil, now that is difficult indeed.

So very nicely done!

This one magnificently portrays the wonder of salvation to me. Life brings its mysteries, illusions and pitfalls, but she who walks with the Savior sees through and beyond the veils of life. There is much depth to this poem. Spiritual eyes can see the truth.
