In the land of Plenty
comes an air of despondancy
Queensland has water for six weeks
NSW about the same
South OZ has enough for 8 months
till it rains.....
The drought is still with us
our crops are for naught
sheep and cattle
are frail and fraught
In the land of stupidity
where we omit fossil fuel
now we're exporting to China
so they can choke on it too
why keep it to ourselves
till it rains......Acid

our lives seem for naught
adults and children
are frail and fraught
In the land Down Under
Where you can hear the thunder
of the Choppers overhead
reconassiance daily
to and fro to Woomera
Till it rains.........Bullets
The drought is still with us
our youth are taught
stuff the elderly
evict without thought
In a land down under
a PM declares "oh Mr Rudd"
I think we are standing
on sinking sand and mud
they said in 2011 we'd disappear from sight
"errrr I thought it was an oxymoron"
