Beautiful imagery, Tanzer, as I looked at the picture, I wondered how many women and men had a part in putting up the statue. About the Freedom Goddess, the Statue of Liberty in our country of the United States of America, thirty-six of the most beautiful, most inspiring words ever written came out of the mind and soul of a young American woman. Her name was Emma Lazarus. She wrote the hope-filled paragraph that has welcomed millions of new citizens to the United States. On the base of the statue, one of the wonders of the modern world, are engraved with these inspirational words.

"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me. I lift my lamp beside the golden door."
