SEASONS

Old man writing on the street
with a stick and water:
if you wait for robins
spring will be over!

All my dancing ink
spent on the goddess of luo river
carrying me like an ox,
the laughing boy of summer.

The crows in the autumn field
caw, caw, caw;
they know the scarecrow
is stuffed with straw.

Winter's tuning up
but I'm dancing away;
he can play his fiddle
all night and day.

Strange mergence of East meets West, our Ken: Judy Garland meets with Yoko John. Yin and yan of stillness and cacophany, still life and animation. Lovely colours and textures. And here's to Planet Rock! (sorry - got a bit lost and a bit behind: try these links!)
