I write poems so that I might see the same sky as a bird I write simply so that I might touch the heart of a child I write to pass life's test with flying colours and read William Wordsworth that I may understand loneliness and clouds Robert Burns, that I may know the red rose and the mouse turned out of his home. I write poems to discover the field where beautiful thoughts grow tall as sunflowers that lean towards the One.

Well done Ted! I have been fascinated with all the different styles of poetry. I have experimented with many artistic styles and I intend to try more. Thank you for re-charging my batteries. I am now a fan of yours.

I love the phrase, "I write poems so that I might see the same sky as a bird." It's as good and insightful as any Wordsworth or Burns.
