I love the cadence and rhyme of this poem, Anita. You picked your words perfectly, and still the rhyme seems unforced, a testament to your talent. This is excellent! The graphic is great; too, I swiped it for future projects. <grin>

This poem has the rhythm of a pendulum, in time with its verses. The clock has been wound, the seconds counted down. All the more reason to enjoy every precious thing...now.

Hey! Could use that photo for the poem I just got through writing. This is good, Lady. You teased us with feathery phrases and whisps of gloom. I like it. Do it again.
I met Jerome on a busy city street in Baltimore, Maryland, when he was forty-five years old. On that particular day, I was out and about, enjoying a much-needed day off from work.
