We voters are viewed by polititians as dispensible economic units. We're asked to elect not so much a government but a political class of careerists into power for the next dollar pinching, people controlling, social deconstructionist term. Am I a cynic?
There is wisdom laced with cynicism in this that has been learned, it would appear, from experience. In my neck of the woods we can buy forty percent less with the dollar this year than last. Working hard, making more, and getting poorer. Is this still America? I hope you are well.
