In Loves Garden

Tending as our garden grows,
Our hands have touched with care,
A simple task so filled with love
Dreams magic grew in there

In loves garden romance sprouts,
so simple that are we
Hues so brilliant spark the ground,
Of lovely memories fair

Fruits of love in strength they grow,
for everyone to see
They walk past our loves garden,
In awe and harmony

May we smell your flowers?
or touch their petals soft?
Can we take their essence?
To gather for our cause?

Two souls look up and smiling

Dear ones please look to yours

For you can build your garden

As we have so built ours

It’s built with memories of the love

The dances that we’ve shared

The simple pleasures of our life

Their perfume fills the air

But please look to our garden

And know that for your own

Like the weavers loom

You can build your own

Take the weeds and bury them

To bring gardenias bouquet

Bring out apples sweetness

Relish their cache

Look to the gentle lily

As she floats on waters clear

Surrounded by green foliage

A healing softness dear

But please look to our garden

And find within your souls

All the love within them

And dance with tender hold

Embrace each other as the vines

A trellis that they cling

Woven hearts and tenderness

And let your own hearts sing

Now please look to our garden and envy please do not

But please dear ones remember, for love cannot be bought
