Night's chirping of the frogs
singing their sweet songs
hypnotizes and comforts
lovers in a sweet embrace
The feel of night's dew
settling upon the grass
reminds me of a night
the coolness of your skin
True love sings in my heart
that which only you know
under moonlit sky
never to fade or wane
I had been searching
a lifetime of errors
haunted by loneliness
until we became one soul
And in this miracle called life
I want you to know
even though I was naught the chosen one
my love for you will never change
So as you wander your path of enlightenment
know I wait under the moonlit sky
recalling the coolness on my skin
as you tenderly embraced me one night
Under the moonlit sky
The memories will remain
never fading from me
year after year, I will hold onto them

The funny thing about love is if you have loved you will love again and it will be better than before...take it from this old romantic soul who knows, Carol
Hugs,

Your voice calls out over the water for your lost love. Someday you will find that love this shore under the moonlight and the other memory will fade.
