And still another lil ditty - Another Niece - not by Blood, as such - But treated so - and very Much!

PADI © - Tom Hyland - 05-05-09 “Paddy-Cake - Paddy-Cake - Baker Man - Bake me a Cake - Fast as you Can!” Yep - Ye Olde Nursery Rhyme! Put in some Berries - Leave out the Thyme! Padi Abbassian - Hails from Iran! It was May 29th, of Eighty-Two - When Padi Emerged - with Yelps - Quite a Few! ‘Til Age Three - in Iran - she Grew! Coming to A- MeR -I - Ca ! A Land - Oh So Grand - Give us your Many - Give us your Few! Think Becky met her - One day at School - They Hit it Off - Both Real Cool! Each was the other’s Fan! Just like a Puppy - Becky Brought her Home - Said: “Mom - Can we Keep Her?” No Longer will She Roam! “Lem’me Think on it” - said Bernadette - Shortly After - OK - No Sweat! So - Padi moved in - A New Home to Set! Once - only Ed n’ Becky - Now there were Three - Bernie had her Hands Full - Yes-Sir-Ee! Ed was Out-Numbered - Just Wait n’ See! Three Women now - with which to Contend - Fights O’er the Bathroom - would they Ever End? Girlie This - n’ Girlie That - How Could he Fend? Reminds me of the old Movie - Cheaper By The Dozen - Things all A-Scramble - Certainly Buzzin’ - Schedules to Plan - Plans to Keep - Oh Lord - Please - Let me Sleep! Sometimes things were Quiet n’ Calm - Other-times tho’ - Mom used some Balm! Especially When - Ed lacked Aplomb! By and By - They All Got Along - Smiled - Laughed - and Sang a Song! Hey Ed - did Mom ever - Discover your Bong? Well - Padi did This - n’ Padi did That - Onct - brought home a Stray - a lil Black Cat! Welcome to the Menagerie - Here is Where It’s At! Padi’s done various jobs - mostly for Vets - Learnin’ n’ Fixin’ - n’ Pampering Pets! If it’s Fuzzy or Furry - Off are All Bets! Somewhere along - this thing we call Life - Padi met Tim Bauer - who Made Her His Wife! Like All Other Couples - Thus Began - New Strife! June 17th, of Two-Thousand Five - They did get Hitched - A Beautiful Ceremony at The Cloister - Padi was Tim’s - Pearl in the Oyster! It was a Day - I’ll not soon Forget - Many Teary-Eyed - n’ - Faces Wet! We all - Ate n’ Danced - n’ - Worked up a Sweat! Oh - Tim’s Okay - if’n you like Irish Micks - He works with Critters Too - Gettin’ Bites n’ Licks! They all live Together now - Way Out in the Sticks! A Brown-Haired Brown-Eyed Beauty - you Cannot Deny - When she’s up - she’s UP - Spritely n’ Spry! But - when she’s DOWN - My - Oh My - Oh My! So - Padi Dear - Now is Twenty-Seven - Hope you Stick Around ‘Til - At Least - Leventy-Leven! © - TKH - Love - Unk.
