The pic? I captioned it "Polish CPR" - ResuscitaTION - nice word? What is a Noun? A Person, Place, or Thing, or a Class Thereof. "How now brown cow art thou?" Adverb, adverb, adjective, noun, verb, pronoun.

tion - Anyone? © - Tom Hyland - 07-18-09 Let us start with - _ation - Only two possible Prefix Letters - One forms a Country - T’other a Fraction or Portion! Next is - _etion - Nuttin’ Honey! No Singular letter prefix Can - Form a Viable Word! Then, there’s- _ition - Nope! None here Either! How about - _otion? Yep! There are Four - One is a Soother - Another is a Movement - The third is an Idea - And the last - a Magic Liquid! What about - _ution? Zip! Nada! Zilch! And - _ytion? Ditto - Kiddo! In Summary - only Six - Possible letters as a Pre-fix - To form words to get our Kicks! Or - to Wet our Wicks! Why? You may Ask - Because these chosen ‘Forms’ Are Not Bases, or Roots - But - actually Suffixes Themselves! If - we use Two letters in Front - Only One Possible Word - Other than Those Above! And it is Not - Mum! _ _tion! I want Some! At Three Letters - _ _ _tion - We still have the Restriction - Of yet more Constriction - Like maybe a Book’s First _ _ _tion? Using Four Letters Though - It’s a Whole New Ballgame! The Mathematical Possibilities Expand - Not - Multiplication, Division, or Subtraction - but _ _ _ _ tion! As the number of letters in Front Increase - They are no longer Prefixes - But become Roots, or Bases - And Then - Myriads of Nouns - are in our Faces! So - from Aberration - Way Down to Zonation - With Mucho Cogitation - Some may find a lot of - Elation! If you Dislike my Equation - Or if it Fills you with Anticipation - Or even Consternation - By All Means - Simply Change The Station! © - TKH
