Picture Prayers Poem:
Every day I was taught I should pray.
But, I was often tired and thought, “No way”
Prayer was boring, tiring and just, “blah”.
I’d rather sit back and relax than toil with my thoughts.
Without a goal, effort or whine.
God had another plan, and I paid attention in time.
Prayers were not an option, it’s a necessity indeed.
They weren’t meant to be said, when only in need.
Angels prayed, as I was then taught.
Their method was pure, who would have thought!
I now pray in pictures I call “Picture Prayers”.
It’s opened up my life, my eyes—I am now fully aware.
Thank you God for all you have shared and shown.
I now feel at peace for anytime you call me to come home.

Finding this peace, this silence within, is indeed a gift from God.
Kewl couplets that rhymed with purpose.
Picture Prayers... kewl title for a book.
As NVP would say, picturzse, prayerize actualize, for the most affective prayer.
