In this world, I simply float as a feather;
I make my way in all kinds of weather.
As aimless as the fluff buds of dandelions,
As determined as a flea in the fur of lions.
Annoying problems I systematically sever,
With regard to relations I seem to be clever.
Those who look up to me, I take on board,
Those who look down on me, I never hoard.
When the day arrives, I wish the world to see;
When night falls, I take to the hills and flee.
My love interests I always doggedly pursue,
If rejected, I shake myself to feel reborn anew.
Deep inside the world lies the wonder of spirit,
Only lift the veil to reveal the world’s true merit.
Contraband Marriage, traveling along the hemline of loving after incarceration, is a love story written in lyric and free form, set in reality with a different ever after.
Love ya!
