When we are together
Day after blessed day,
I can endure all weather
Without extra to pay.
When hanging on a tether,
I have nothing to say.
No question of why or whether,
You keep my fears at bay.
You are faithful, clever;
You appreciate what I say.
You listen closely to whatever,
Especially if I utter a nay.
Through my every endeavor,
You by my side always stay.
I am your shelter ever and ever,
You have no need to stray.
May our relation never sever,
Always near and never far away.
We will journey together forever,
Into eternity, in a moonlit sleigh.
