Thoughts of the Eternal – A Sonnet

The stars inspire thoughts of the eternal,
Musings that mingle with sleep nocturnal.
The magical lights reach down from above,
Sprinkling their mystery with intimate love.
Their light voyage from some ancient shore,
To whisper the meaning of their eternal lore.
The light so infinitesimal it carries no beams,
Mystery speaks for itself and is what it seems.
The thoughts of mankind but limited in number,
They disappear completely in night’s slumber.
But the stars, our own stars are so numberless,
Leaving us the human privilege only to guess.
But upon our awakening, we do guess no more,
The starlight vanished from our bedroom floor.

It is very difficult to keep pondering on the eternal question. I mean where do you set your sites on. I have come to my on conclusion, and am sticking by it. You have been on the "eternal" question quite a bit lately, much fodder there to attempt to uncover.
the sun takes its tour throughout the milky way to end it once in 200 million years. . . only music of the universe can live so long, and this praised sonnet lovely proves the fact. Cheers, alex
Intimate love is the best. That is why I talk to God each night. So I can sleep beneath his starlight. Your words are of ceiling quality today dear John. This is what God intended for you to write today. As in heaven so on earth.
