Poetry a promise that lures me away,
Far from the multitude, the wild fray,
An inner sanctum of secret desires,
Into the mind where thought inspires.
To write with the ink of the rainbow,
To capture the wide eyes of the doe.
What does the lyric poet do but write,
At first the mind blank, all out of sight.
Night wind brushes on my windowpane,
The night rain whispers a secret name.
Where others might not stop and pause,
The poet does stop to consider the cause.
Then what happens, but the poem keeps
The secret it promised that the poet seeks.
I CAN RELATE; PAPER AND PEN KEPT NEARBY IS THE HABIT OF THE WISE BECAUSE SOMETIMES IT COMES BACK...SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T BUT IT KEEPS ITS PROMISE...THE SECRET ALWAYS COMES AT LEAST...ONCE. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE,BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

But, deer can smell danger quite easily and those big ears can hear a predator coming from some distance.

Regardless of where you may be found in love this beautiful masterpiece can be
Robin Ouzman Hislop's poetry is certainly in dialogue with some of the key architects of the 'poetics of indeterminacy' – both the Modernist strands represented by the likes of Beckett and Stein, and the postmodernist strands represented, initially,
