A wildfire is burning,
Raw emotions churning.
Deep within the heart,
To tear its fabric apart.
This is not where I belong,
As if singing another’s song.
Love dressed as fiery passion,
Soon to pass as any fashion.
Tomorrow comes soon enough,
As passion flutters like fluff.
I breathe you in so beautiful,
I breathe you out so pitiful.
Your voice speaks many tongues,
Your wildfire singes my lungs.
The emptiness leaves me hollow,
Cooling shame I must swallow.
The frantic embrace subsides,
Loneliness and loss now resides.
When the raging fire finally dies,
Its dusty ash tells no certain lies.
SO, YOU'RE SAYING; IF ONE NEVER LIGHTS THE FIRE...THEN THERE'S NO FIRE TO PUT OUT. HMMMM, WISE...AND YET...TO EACH HIS OWN. THANKS FOR SHARING, MY FRIEND. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
