The desert is filled with ever-shifting sands,

The savannah is filled with endless lands,

The ocean is filled with water and wave,

The night sky filled with stars as in a cave,

The eyes are filled with beauty and bliss,

The lips are filled with that tender, loving kiss,

The mind is filled with awareness and desire,

The heart is filled with an ardent love on fire,

My sleep is filled with nocturnal dreams,

My cup is filled with brimming hope it seems,

My life is filled with people and places,

The world is filled with a multitude of faces,

Only one thing in life that can never truly fill,

All the hopes that in our hearts linger still.
