Offering challenges to try the soul.

The more desolate the morrow.

The more sinister our pathway.

The heavier the hand,

Darker clouds cover the land.

The deeper the emotion,

The more sincere our true devotion.

The deeper the conflict,

The more triumph found in the script.

The cheaper the cost,

The more likely something is lost.

The thrill of first kiss,

Remembered to this very day.

Loss of what we miss,

Never again to have a word to say.

A larger wave on shore,

The deeper the hole to explore.

The sadder the sorrow,

The more hope we seek tomorrow.

The harder we fall; the higher we fly

The deeper we venture into the open sky.
