How far can a person shout,

A distance measured less than a mile.

How long can a person pout,

Much longer than a simple smile.

How long can a person be patient,

As long to finally achieve one’s end.

How long to endure as a sick patient,

As long till one finally meets the end.

How long can I my troubles endure,

As long as I still have a little hope.

How long until my soul becomes pure,

As long until I climb up the divine rope.

We often wonder how long, how far,

As long, as far, as light in that distant star.
