I want to get inside,

Get into the body of things.

Not just skim the surface,

To unveil what life brings.

Not to just see the flower,

Waving its head in the bower.

But to capture the flower’s heart,

To fill me, not separate, apart.

Inside we can see and hear,

To feel the inner workings of a tear.

Revealed inside, newly imagined,

We see in ways never before fathomed.

Inside the body of things we see the whole,

In lifting the veil, we see the soul.
