Be not patient,

With a patience dutiful.

Rather be patient,

With a patience beautiful.

Patience can be heavy,

As heavy as bad weather.

But patience can be light,

As light as a feather.

In waiting patiently

For whatever will come,

We wait beautifully

And never on the run.

Beware patience unbecoming,

Raw desire in a rush.

Patience sees things coming,

While waiting in the hush.

Even if nothing may come,

A patience beautiful will still have won.
