The seeing and the blind are not equal,

They partake of sight in different realms.

The seeing make way in a world visible,

The blind make way in a world invisible.

The seeing navigate by the light of day,

The blind navigate by the light of night.

The seeing see things unlike the blind,

The blind never see what the seeing see.

The seeing may not always clearly see,

The blind don’t always see as if blind.

The seeing don’t see what the blind see,

The blind see things the seeing don’t see.

No one blind as the seeing who never see,

No one so seeing as the blind who do see.
