Why do we seek out wilderness spaces?

Why do we venture into unknown places?

The lure of the mysterious has taken hold;

Our souls willing to listen to its story told.

So many questions still in our mind linger;

Unanswered questions beckon with a finger.

Our unknown destiny ever impossible to know;

Enlightening knowledge so as our tapestry to sew.

To see the mystery that lies in the stars;

To bask into the blue waters of the heavens;

To feel the strength contained in mountains;

Awash in the freshness of ever-changing rivers.

We appeal to Mother Nature our souls to nourish;

In her answer to our questions will our souls flourish.
