SO THEN, DEPENDING UPON OCCURRENCES AND CIRCUMSTANCES IN YOUNG AND OLD LIVES, THEY CAN ENTERWINE WHEREBY ...THE YOUNG CAN BE QUITE OLD. AND THE OLD...QUITE YOUNG. Truth forever young

as I find in both my nocturnal journeys, as well as many times during the day I will flash on my past and realize how much my old professional life was cluttered with lies and misinformation, long before the world became more aware of technology that could say and be who and whatever they wished to put out there. Sometime, I think how fortunate getting older is for those of us who see it as opportunity, not disappointment. Let us hope, more of the world will think and express the young versus old often with as much wisdom as this piece conveys.
This I find to be an expressive scroll of deeply meaningful reveal, John. I found myself eagerly reading down this column, which makes the ‘form’ you chose for this so very effective. Instead of a disjointed ‘list,’ this was a delightful unveiling. The ringers for me were “Time young/Centuries old” and “The secret young/The gossip old”. I do feel that “Revelation young/Mystery old” is more the other way around…as the youth search into today and tomorrow and the old bring out pictures of yesteryear. “Bubbling springs” has a typo, just so you know. Plus, I have to say your writing is defining the skill of ‘readerly appeal’ in so many ways. I am eager to read your posts and the many surprises you offer. Kudos to you, John! ~~ djl
