A Simple Death by John Herlihy At death’s door, Worlds to explore. A simple death, At the final breath. Here today, As a spring day. Gone tomorrow, Riding life's arrow. We never knew, As birds flew. Things never to know, As surging rivers flow. The coming hour, It’s unique power. We never know, What destiny may sew. Tomorrow arrives, The story thrives. Finally at an end, Just round the bend. Resolves life's mystery, Behold life's beauty. To die forsaken, Then to awaken. The body gone, The soul as song. QUIETLY TAKING OFF THE ROBE OF MORTALITY, ASKING NOTHING MORE, BUT THE REDEEMER TO ADORE. YES...A SWEET, EASY...SIMPLE DEATH...ONE THAT WE ALL SHOULD BE BLESSED WITH. BEAUTIFUL! LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS

While I'm not sure of the final outcome of this poem, I am sure that the following stanza is as sure as the rain.

The coming hour,
Its unique power.
We never know,
What destiny may sow.
