I Probably Need Another Vacation…

I Can See For Miles

Have you ever gone on a trip

To a very magical land

It’s really very simple

And almost anyone can

All you need is a little imagination

And an explorer’s bold creativity

You can actually journey anywhere

To any country or even under the sea

When I find that I’m truly bored

With really nowhere else to go

I often hop on an old city bus

With my old canine pal Turbo

Soon I eagerly begin to explain to him

Where our adventure will take us today

And soon we often find it rather strange

That other passengers disembark right away

But the now empty bus gives us more room

And a much better panoramic window view

As I’ve patiently explained to my dog

This is even better than going to the zoo

“As you can very plainly see Turbo,

Today we’ve journeyed under the sea;

Please keep your paws inside the window,

And hopefully, a giant shark or two we’ll see.”

I think my dog really loves these adventures

He’s never complained to me – not once at all

Maybe tomorrow we’ll head for the Himalayas

I bet he gets real excited when we reach Nepal

And I’ve really been thinking a lot lately

About bringing my spouse along on our magic bus

I just know that my enthusiastic travel loving wife

Will enjoy these epic adventure trips as much as us
