Each and Every Christmas Holiday Season

Rebecca and I honor our own ancient ancestry

But the fact that she doesn’t care for my Polish food

Does not take away from my own ethnic Holiday glee

Eighty Percent in the U.S. profess Christianity

Yet the phrase ‘Happy Holidays’ upsets so many

No one can rob you of your religious beliefs

Unless you relinquish them and don’t have any

Whether you say ‘Merry Christmas’

Or simply shout ‘Happy Holidays’

Both Rebecca and I Wish You All

A Most Joyous Christmas Day

May You Celebrate This Holiday

Any Way That You Yourself Choose

Whether it’s Honoring Religion and Heritage

Or Simply Taking a Relaxing Christmas Snooze

Whether it’s Gathering Round the Tree

With Your Precious Friends and Family

Or whether it’s a Stroll through the City

Gazing at the Holiday Decorations  with Glee

Whether it’s a tranquil Walk in the Woods

To ponder Nature or a Special Christmas Past

We Both Hope Your Day is Truly a Joyous One
