Ruff ‘N Ready Rufuz – Pet Detective

-Intro –

Sir Wigglesworth runs a detective agency

From an old country estate outside Liverpool

He’s been good friends with Detective Rufuz

Since they first met back in pet detective school

Wigglesworth has two wacky human assistants

Who help him run his small pet detective agency

They are a young British lad named Little Andy

And a young American boy known as Tiny Eddie

Little Andy likes to compare himself to James Bond

Although he has more of a Harrison Ford – Fabio Look

Little Eddie somehow seems to resemble old Eddie Munster

Although for the American singer Billie Joel he’s often mistook

Although these two humans try quite hard

They are really not very good pet detectives

And they usually get Wigglesworth very upset

As he races around the estate barking expletives

In the very first issue of their brand new comic series

Rufuz contacts them about an international cat theft ring

And you will not want to miss one second of the hilarity

The incompetent antics of Little Andy and Eddie soon bring

And to add to the insane fun of this very first series issue

Rufuz soon dispatches his old sidekick Matlack to England

Watching Andy, Eddie, and Matlack trying to solve this case

We believe will bring our readers some laughter most grand

“I say, my dear old chap, Matlock,

Are you sure you can keep us with us?”

“Listen, sonny, while you were still in diapers,

I was solving these cases with my good pal, Rufuz.

And, by the way, it’s spelled Matlack, with an ‘A,’

Not with an ‘O’ like that other really old guy on TV.”

“You don’t say?!  Hmm…  Did you hear that, Tiny Eddie?!

This might very well be our first clue in solving this baffling case,

Let’s all rush back to Headquarters, and discuss it over a spot of tea.”

“Wow!  You really think so?

My name might really have a hidden clue in it?

I always wondered why it was spelled like that.

Wow!  I can’t wait to tell Rufuz about this!”
