The good life that he promised

Ain't exactly what she's livin' today

But she never complains of the bad times

Or the really bad things that he did yesterday

She's a good hearted woman, still in love with a cave lovin man

She loves him in spite of his weird ways, she just don't understand

With teardrops & laughter, they pass through this world hand in hand

She’s a real real good hearted woman, still lovin' this cave lovin man

He likes the simple life, and his furry critters, and cave dwellin friends

And when this little party's over, she'll welcome him back on home again

Lord knows she don't understand him, but she does the best that she can

This real real good hearted woman, is still lovin' this weird old cave lovin man

And she’s been a really really good hearted sport

Helpin him get ready for the Creek Cave Festivities

Yet he keeps promisin her a real nice long vacation

She’s hankerin for warm sunny beaches by the sea

But he’s been really really hopin here of late

That she’ll actually start lovin this simple cave life

He’d really really love to sell their home above ground

And move in here permanently with his critters and his wife

But she's a good hearted woman, in love with a cave lovin man

And she loves him in spite of his weird ways, she don't understand
