“Behold, my friends, the spring is come;

The earth has gladly received the embraces of the sun,

And we shall soon see the results of their love!”

Sitting Bull

It’s time to hitch up the wagon

And time to get out on the road

Spring and Easter are approaching

Time to head down to old New Mexico

The lovely wildflowers are now blooming

The sweet fragrance of Spring, is in the air

We’ll be travelin down wondrous back roads

The sights and sounds of Nature, everywhere

All those melodious songbirds, serenading us

Earth’s landscape changing, oh so enchantingly

All the sights and sounds, of Spring and Easter

All provided by His Master Hand, and all so free

We journey to the land of my wife’s ancestors

To be mesmerized by their ancient tales again

We long to listen to their very joyous flute music

Dreaming of their simple life, as it was back then

Wishing everyone here a joyous Easter

Wishing everyone a marvelous Spring

It’s truly time for life’s annual renewal

It’s truly time now to rejoice, and to sing

“If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy,

If a blade of grass springing up in the fields

Has the power to move you,

If the simple things of nature,

Have a message that you understand,

Then Rejoice,

For your soul is still alive.”

Eleonora Duse

For Springtime’s Road, Our Hearts Truly Yearn;

See You All Right Back Here, Upon Our Return
