He was always a favorite ‘Ed’ of mine
His songs always hit my heart and soul
And I still listen to old Eddy all the time

‘The Last Word In Lonesome - Is Me’
‘I’m Bringin Daddy’s Letter Home Today’
His real fine ‘Gonna Find Me A Bluebird’
And a little song he sang, called ‘Butterfly’
We’ve just lost another great country singer
And it makes an old fan like me, wanna cry
And as long as I live, I’ll still be whistlin to
His marvelous old yodelin song, ‘Cattle Call’
“He rides in the sun, ‘til his day’s work is done;
And then he rounds up those cattle, every fall.”
Good Old Eddy Arnold,
A True Country Legend;
I’ll still be listenin to him,
When my time’s at an end.
And maybe, just maybe, someday,
I’ll hear him a yodelin in the sky;
Now, wouldn’t that be somethin,
As I see good old Eddy, ridin by.
