“There are tens of thousands of animals

In animal shelters all across the country,

All needing to be fed a good meal.”

Mimi Ausland

Meet caring young Mimi Ausland

A 12-year old girl, who truly inspires

She was concerned about abandoned pets

Helping to feed them, was her greatest desire

So, before very long at all

Mimi started her very own website

Clicking on her dog and cat questions

Helps to feed shelter animals every night

Her wonderful website is called ‘Freekibble.com’

Please check it out, and assist her in her worthy quest

The world truly needs many more youngsters like Mimi

Willing to tackle problems, with such enthusiasm and zest

We can all sit around doing nothing, like our politicians

Who seem to think that world problems, will just go away

Or we can all become ardent advocates for a worthy cause

And help find solutions, to our many world problems today

And if you would also like to help save a pet’s life

Please visit your local shelter or humane society, today

America’s pets are sadly being abandoned, to foreclosures

Please follow young Mimi’s example, and help in some way

Wish more would be as compassionate, but I fear for this apathetic generation - and especially for God's creatures -

We do need more young lady's and men who do things like this. They are few and far between. Most only want their DVD's, computer games, TV and to laze around the house being lax. I know some that do that. Wish I could give them a good kick in the _____.
