For all the atrocities that have been going on, there will be a price to be paid. A terribly sad legacy, but as you say, not enough seem to care anymore. Too many wrapped up in the "I" instead of the "We". Heartbreaking write for sure.....

The happy times are over. Everyday when I wake up I think of the tourture animals are going through and what it will take for people to change. I try to spread the message in my school but no one listens. Soon, I am afraid, wolves will disappear from North America too. This why I'm writing an aritcle on wolf slaughters and what it is like to be in the wolves postion. Its taking me so long because there is so much to share. If only people werent so cruel. I can only wonder where all the hate comes from but never get an answer. The ways of nature are the ways of life. Great write Ed.

Twenty years or more ago I was writing to my Reps. to engage in "gelding" most of the wild stallions. My thoughts remain, and feel the cost would not entail as much as putting up helicopters to herd them in. Proven to be successful (when applied) with our domestic pets...cats and dogs. Seems our law-makers are too gung-ho on killing. ~~sigh~~

It makes you wonder if we are not after the wrong killers, the ones that should not have to kill to survive, the ones that find so much pleasure in killing, the ones that direct this slaughter from their ivory towers, the ones the state press, that don't find it newsworthy,the ones that preach sins in church yet bless the hunters,
the sinners like us that sit idly by, the ones that can cry when a baby is killed, yet a little wolf cub find irrelevant, the ones that think Dr. Mengele is dead, and the ones that are already dead in their souls, for real souls have not apathy, but empathy, I find it be better we'd save the wolf cubs, then humanity at this stage, and maybe just maybe when God has witnessed just about enaugh, he'll wash his fire over us, I just hope he saves all the innocent creatures, for they are truly his, thanks for rattling me out of my false peace for the moment Ed, this was truly powerful, and heart rendering, I ask the lords blessing upon you for caring!Jasmin Horst
